Even though emotional support had previously been provided informally for some clients by members of staff and support groups, a need was clearly identified for a dedicated member of staff. Hayley has developed the
Emotional Support Service across Sheffield and Rotherham and is there to help our clients to adjust to their sight and/or hearing loss, as we recognise that dealing with this often has a negative impact on people’s mental health and general wellbeing. Hayley has been a great support to many clients at
this important stage in their journey.
