During school holidays or at weekends we hold regular activity days for our younger clients and their families. Most children with a vision and/or a hearing impairment attend mainstream schools and these events are often the only chance they get to meet others in a similar situation to themselves. Many friendships have developed and parents have found the support, advice and information from other parents invaluable. We try to make all the events fun and inclusive, making siblings welcome and giving them the opportunity of meeting other siblings.
