On 17th September 2025 Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind was 165 years old! We've been supporting people with sight loss in Sheffield as an independent local charity since 1860. This year we are delighted that we are able to acknowledge this with another Sheffield institution, Hendersons Relish that is 140 years old this year!

Also, this year, the Sheffield Visually Impaired Walking Group is 25 years old! SVIWG offers visually impaired people (VIP's) the opportunity to go walking regularly, assisted by trained volunteer guides. 

All of these connections brought about a discussion of raising awareness of visual impairments and we've now got a limited edition Hendos bottles! 

If you'd like to purchase one of these bottles of Hendersons Relish, please hurry! You'll be helping us raise funds and awareness, and of course, have the amazing Hendos to splash on your food!
