We are really missing our team during the lockdown, that’s for sure. So we are sure our clients are too. Here is a little reminder of what our team members are usually doing when not under house arrest. We are going to feature members of the team each week... Ian is part of our Community Engagement Team which represent SRSB and RSS. The team visit community groups and events across Sheffield and Rotherham free of charge.

The team's aim is to communicate to the community, the support services available at SRSB and RSS. They also do alot of work to promote eye health and work hard to raise awareness of sight and/or hearing loss. 

Ian used to be one of our minibus drivers, and when he retired from that role, we were delighted that he took on the role of driver for the Mobile Information Unit. He is an experienced driver, but also has the knowledge of our charity’s services from working with us previously, so he is a great asset to the team and is very willing to get involved with our events. He loves to meet members of the public to help us raise awareness.
