Heritage Awareness Talk 25/05/2022

Drawing of one of SRSBs old sites on West Street

Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind (SRSB) Heritage presentation.

Wed 25th May 10:30am. Carpenter Room, Sheffield Central Library.

The Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind (SRSB) celebrated its 160th Anniversary on 17th Sept 2020 in the midst of the pandemic, so we are holding lots of awareness events throughout 2022 instead.

This presentation at the library will take a virtual tour of SRSB's 162 year history with Sheffield.

This tour will include many points of interest around Sheffield that are linked with our charity's history. It will include photos, audio guides, memories and written information, linked to a map of the different locations. Enjoy finding out more about our connection with our city, and how the lives of visually impaired people have changed over the decades.
