Accessible pantomime performances available to book!
Pantomime returns to the Pomegranate Theatre in Chesterfield with Beauty and the Beast starring actress, singer and TV personality Suzanne Shaw as Belle with Thomas Redgrave from Britain’s Got Talent Winners Collabro as Gaston, and Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist Andrew Fleming in the comedy role of Philippe Philoppe.
The family pantomime adventure will run from Friday 3 December 2021 to Sunday 2 January 2022 and accessible performances are as follows: |
Audio described Sat 11 Dec 2pm & 7pm
During an Audio described performance, customers can wear a headset so they can hear a narrator describe what is happening on stage.
Touch Tour Sat 11 Dec 5:45pm
This event is a 30 minute touch tour for customers who hold tickets to the audio described panto performances on Sat 11 Dec at 2pm or 7pm. A guided touch tour around the set, puts the performance in context to enhance the experience for blind and partially sighted customers. Pre-booking is required by calling the box office.

Signed performances have a British Sign Language interpreter at the side of the stage.
Relaxed Thu 30 Dec 2pm
Relaxed performances are adapted for those with learning disabilities and other sensory and communication disorders – providing a more relaxed and supportive atmosphere.
With plenty of audience participation and huge helpings of laughter combined with spectacular scenery, captivating costumes and enchanting special effects, Beauty and the Beast is the traditional family pantomime that will leave you spellbound!
