During lockdown, we have been extremely grateful for the continued support of a team of our volunteers. The roles they have carried out have been very much appreciated by our clients too. We are going to focus on these volunteers and want to say a huge thank you to them. As usual, we could not offer the range of services that we do without the support of all our volunteers.
Viv is one of these volunteers and she is a Tele-Contact volunteer. Viv has supported our clients throughout lockdown as well as doing this role before.

Clients who we haven’t had contact with for 3 months receive a telephone call from volunteers to check that they are OK and identify if there is anything that we could support them with.
Viv explains why she loves doing this role: "It is very rewarding talking to the clients on the phone, as many of them live on their own and they are really grateful for your call and often thank you for thinking about them. Sometimes it is quite moving."
