We've been asked to let you know about a new audio described guide available at the Cooper Gallery in Barnsley, from Monday 7th August 2023.

It consists of 21 audio descriptions of artworks in their ‘Light and Soul: Early Impressions of the French Landscapes’ by artists such as Corot, Rousseau, Millet and Isabey. It also includes descriptive directions of how to navigate the exhibition, and background information about the paintings.

You can listen to the guide on your own device via their Soundcloud page, or borrow one of their devices from the shop desk at the Cooper Gallery. Please provide your own headphones (Bluetooth or wired work fine).

The guide will be running until the 7th October when the exhibition ends. The Cooper Gallery is open from 10 to 4 every day except Sundays and is situated on Church Street, Barnsley, S70 2AH.
