Sheffield Transport Vision Consultation

We have been asked to pass this information on by SYPTE:

Sheffield Council’s Transport Vision consultation is now live and will run until Tuesday 6 February. Sheffield City Council would like to hear your views.

The Transport Vision

The Transport Vision sets out what Sheffield City Council wants travel to be like in the future as the city changes and some broad principles for how they might achieve this.

The Consultation

Details of the consultation and a copy of the Transport Vision document can be found at www.sheffield.gov.uk/transportvision

How to take part

The easiest way to take part is by visiting www.sheffield.gov.uk/transportvision and completing the on-line questionnaire that takes about 15 minutes to complete.

There is a comments box at the end for general comments but you may also email Sheffield Council at transport@sheffield.gov.uk as an individual or on behalf of an organisation, if you have any further comments.  Please include ‘Sheffield Transport Vision’ in the subject field of your e-mail.

How you can help

It would be appreciated if you could please help us to promote the consultation and encourage participation by passing this information on to as many people as possible and encourage them to take part in the consultation.

The consultation closes on 6 February 2018 and Sheffield City Council will use the results to help them develop the Sheffield Transport Strategy.

The Transport Strategy

The Sheffield Transport Strategy will follow later in 2018 – a fuller version that will say more about what Sheffield City Council will do in different parts of the city.
