Well, we are missing our team during the lockdown, that’s for sure. So we are sure our clients are too. Here is a little reminder of what our team members are usually doing when not under house arrest. We are going to feature members of the team each week...
Lesley is our Activities Centre Co-ordinator at SRSB in Sheffield. Our Activities Centre normally welcomes up to 30 people each week day. Our fleet of minibuses collect people from around the city and bring them to the centre. |
There are a range of activities and entertainment available at the centre, including a variety of craft activities, cookery, games and word puzzles. We also organise trips out to visit local museums, gardens and other attractions.
Lesley is very encouraging and affectionate with our clients, many of whom are at risk of social isolation and loneliness. This service is critical in addressing this issue and offers friendship and support (and of course fun!) to some of our most vulnerable clients.
