We have been asked by Northern Ballet to let you know about this audio described performance and Touch Tour of the ballet The Little Mermaid, at Sheffield Lyceum on Saturday 2nd Dec. Northern Ballet’s beautiful new ballet will reimagine the classic Hans Christian Andersen fairytale and take you on a journey beneath the waves this Autumn.
There will be a Touch Tour Insight beforehand from 12pm to 1:15pm to introduce elements of the production to aide in patrons’ understanding of the show. They can hear a description of the scenery, feel the props and costumes, and discover the shapes and quality of the movement from the ballet with the aid of company dancers.

Our Culture Club is going to this ballet, but should you wish to attend independently, tickets cost £37 per person. Booking fees may apply. Should you require the support of a carer or companion to attend the audio description, they will qualify for a free ticket.
