Tele-Contact Volunteer

Introduction to the Role

We aim to contact our clients by phone every six to twelve months. Volunteers make a courtesy call to check that the client is well and establish if they require any further support.

You will be supervised by our Volunteer Co-ordinator but could be directed by other appropriate office staff.

Where the role is based:

At SRSB’s Mappin Street Centre.

Time Involved:

Generally 2 to 4 hours one day a week, however this role is very flexible.

Skills required:

It is essential that you are a friendly, caring person who will enjoy chatting over the telephone. Good communication skills with a clear speaking voice are essential.
