SRSB Mappin Street Centre:

Trusts & Grants Fundraising Officer (Part Time)

This is a hugely exciting opportunity for a part-time Trust and Grants Fundraiser to join a highly successful fundraising team within a very respected local charity. This is a brand new role with great scope for progression and the opportunity to take the lead on the delivery of the trust fundraising strategy for the charity. This really is an opportunity not to be missed to work in a capacity where you can make a difference every single day by being at the forefront of raising funds to directly improve lives.

Children & Families Support Officer (Part Time, Maternity Cover)

Part time 25 hours per week, to support children and their families - children with a visual impairment in Sheffield and children with a visual and/or hearing impairment in Rotherham. This is a fixed term contract to 31st March 2021.

Cairn Home:

Cook (Part Time)

Care Assistants

We sometimes have vacancies for either full time or part time care assistants at our residential Care Home, Cairn Home at Crosspool, Sheffield. Experience not essential as training will be provided.

Volunteer Roles Immediately Required

SRSB has many Volunteer Opportunities, but there are some that we immediately require: 

Mobile Information Unit Volunteers

Volunteers required on an ad-hoc basis to support the Mobile Information Officer, staffing our Mobile Information Unit, meeting with the general public to pormote Eye Health and the services that SRSB provides to support blind and partially sighted people.

Fundraising Collection Volunteers

Join our team of store collection volunteers by giving a couple of hours of your time at various locations around Sheffield and Rotherham.

Ten Pin Bowling Volunteers

Volunteers required once every two weeks on Tuesday evenings between 7pm to 9pm, at the Bowl Centre at Firth Park.

Volunteers are required to assist our clients throughout the game (at no cost to the volunteer). Travel expenses will be paid. 

Activities Centre Volunteer Drivers

We require Volunteer Drivers using their own cars on Thursdays and Fridays. The trip would involve you picking clients up from their home to bring them into our centre on Mappin Street for 10:30am, and take them home at 2:30pm.

You aren’t necessarily required to do all of the journeys. Even one of the trips would be helpful.
