Introduction to the Role

This is your way to help us raise funds and awareness at a location, day and time that suits you! Making a difference for a local charity that supports over 3,600 blind and partially sighted people in Sheffield by offering 2 hours of your time.

Collections and Bag Packs are held in supermarkets, shopping centres, football matches and other similar locations. Volunteers generally work in pairs. Our fundraising collection volunteers help raise not only funds, but also general awareness of SRSB. 

All volunteers are provided with materials at the collection eg banner stand, collection buckets, stickers, tabards.

We will give you training before start and you will be supervised by our Fundraising Team.

Where the role is based:

At various locations in Sheffield.

Time Involved:

Usually 2 hours with 2 people at a time.

Skills required:

We ask that you are friendly, reliable and confident with a positive approach. Being flexible and willing to get involved is essential. You should be able to make your own travel arrangements to/from the location.
