Fundraising Collection Volunteer

Introduction to the Role

Collections are held in supermarkets, shopping centres, football matches and other similar locations. Volunteers generally work in pairs. Our fundraising collection volunteers help raise not only funds, but also general awareness of SRSB by answering any questions from the public and handing out publicity material.

All volunteers are provided with identification and promotional material.

You will be supervised by Sue Coggin or Jane Peach, our Fundraising Team.

Where the role is based:

At various locations, usually in Sheffield.

Time Involved:

2 to 4 hours depending on the specific collection.

Skills required:

We ask that you are friendly, reliable and confident with a positive approach. Being flexible and willing to get involved is essential. You should be able to make your own travel arrangements to/from the location.
