Singing Group

SRSB runs a singing group each week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at our Mappin Street Centre. Singing is believed to be a great therapy with many benefits, and the group sing for pleasure, with the joy of singing coming first.

The group has gone from strength to strength since it first began back in 2011, when it was started by a (then) Occupational Therapy student, who continues to run the group today.

Our singers have performed in several places, including the Winter Gardens, the Town Hall, at several care homes, churches and companies around Sheffield, as well as at our Mappin Street Centre events.

The group also too part in a project with Sheffield Hallam University to produce a movie which you can view on our SRSB in Action page.

If you are a client of SRSB and would like to get involved please contact David Cox at SRSB on 0114 272 2757 or email
