Little Sparklers

Our ‘Little Sparklers’ group for pre-school children with a visual impairment (and their siblings) takes place every Wednesday 10am to 12noon at our Mappin Street Centre. This group is tailored to the children and their specific requirements. They can play with sensory and stimulating toys such as tactile, fibre optics, cause and effect, dark dens etc. The group also arranges trips to other appropriate venues such as sensory rooms and soft play areas.

It is run by staff and volunteers from SRSB as well as staff from the pre-school team at Sheffield City Council's Vision Support Services.

Our centre in Rotherham (RSS) has also started Children's Sessions at Ship Hill.

If you are interested in attending either of these groups or would like further information, please contact Kadie on 0114 272 2757 or email: You can also view the dates and times for the different sesssions on our Client Events page.
