Reception Volunteer

Introduction to the Role

Friendly, approachable, confident volunteers required for reception support. Meeting and greeting, guiding people to their appointments and centre facilities.

Answering telephone enquiries, taking and passing on messages to staff, overseeing signing in/out, lunch orders procedures and processes for vistors and volunteers.

Skills required:

Good telephone skills and being pleasant, good humoured, welcoming, helpful, as you will be the first point of contact for people accessing our centres.

Time Involved:

We particularly require cover over lunch, between 12 to 2pm Monday to Friday. However, assistance is also appreciated during the main busy period between 10:30am until 2:20pm.

Where the role is based:

At SRSB's Mappin Street Centre in Sheffield or at RSS's Ship Hill Centre in Rotherham.

PLEASE NOTE: We are not currently accepting applications due to the COVID-19 situation, as our centres are closed. When restrictions are lifted we would be very pleased to hear from you.
