We'll be recognising Deaf Awareness Week (5th to 11th May) with some sessions at both Centres.

Tuesday 6th May at SRSB in Sheffield RNID will visit to perform free hearing checks between 10am and 12 noon.

Tuesday 6th May at RSS in Rotherham 'Beyond Silence' Becoming more D/deaf aware. Come and join us to learn how to become D/deaf aware and learn some basic signs. Between 10am and 12 noon.

Thursday 8th May at RSS in Rotherham RNID will visit to perform free hearing checks between 10am and 12 noon.

The theme this year is Beyond Silence” emphasising breaking barriers, advocating for accessibility, and celebrating the resilience and contributions of Deaf individuals in all aspects of life. It highlights the richness of Deaf culture, and the voices of the Deaf community that deserve recognition.
