Introduction to the Role
We require volunteers who are able to visit clients in their home to help them with computer related problems that they are unable to rectify. This can be as simple as installing a printer or more technical such as adding more memory, changing the hard disk or diagnosing/rectifying broadband connection problems.
You will be working independently although you will report back to SRSB/RSS staff.

Skills required:
You should have relevant computer skills and also enjoy meeting and talking one-to-one with people. You should be able to make your own way to the home of the client.
Time Involved:
Variable, dependent on the nature of the problem, at a time to suit the volunteer and our client.
Where the role is based:
In the Sheffield or Rotherham community.

PLEASE NOTE: We are not currently accepting applications due to the COVID-19 situation, as our centres are closed. When restrictions are lifted we would be very pleased to hear from you.
