Arts and Crafts Volunteer

Introduction to the Role

Volunteers required to facilitate Arts and Crafts Groups.

Sessions are fun, encouraging and supportive, and are intended to provide a creative, imaginative environment for people to get involved in something different, productive and artful.

Activities include creative writing, painting, sculpting and tactile art work, but activities are always expanding and  

can be influenced by the people taking part. We have taken part in exhibitions occasionally.

Skills required:

An interest in arts and crafts.Good organisational and communication skills. Approachable, patient and encouraging personality.

Time Involved:

Sessions last 2 to 3 hours and take place Monday to Friday.

Where the role is based:

At SRSB's Mappin Street Centre in Sheffield or RSS's Ship Hill Centre in Rotherham.

PLEASE NOTE: We are not currently accepting applications due to the COVID-19 situation, as our centres are closed. When restrictions are lifted we would be very pleased to hear from you.
