Preparing for Work

If you are wanting to gain employment, be self-employed running your own business or need support to retain your job as a result of your loss of sight then SRSB might be able to help you. Our team of Community Advice Officers will be able to give you some basic advice on the steps to take and also refer you to other organisations that can assist you. In addition we have an experienced Occupational Health volunteer who will support people trying to retain their employment. Other organisations that we work with include:


South Yorkshire Graduates South Yorkshire Graduates is a careers site for young people seeking employment in the local region. They are also corporate supporters of SRSB and offer support to our charity by coaching and preparing any of our clients age 16 to 25 who are looking for work or indeed work placements.
