Fundraising Supporter Group

Introduction to the Role

Volunteers would be part of a group who would organise activities or events on our behalf in their local area. We would work with you to offer support and advice to enable you to carry out your activities to make them successful.

Supporter Groups may organise events such as Afternoon Teas, Coffee Mornings, Trips and Charity Balls for example. They also act as ambassadors for SRSB, raising awareness within the local community.

You will be supervised by Sue Coggin or Jane Furness, our Fundraising Team.

Where the role is based:

Mutually convenient meeting place and various locations according to the event.

Time Involved:

Variable, dependent on the agreed events or activities.

Skills required:

We ask that you are reliable, confident, organised and friendly, that you enjoy working as part of a team and that you are decisive. You should be able to make your own way to the venue of meetings/events/activities.
